How do I install PHP on a VPS?

To install PHP on your VPS follow these steps:

  1. Log into your HSPC control panel at the following location:
  2. Use the email address and password that you used to sign up for this account. If you cannot remember your password, click on the "Forgot your password?" link and follow the instructions to get the password emailed to your email address.
  3. Click on the System tab.
  4. In the Applications section, click on Add Application.
  5. Check the box to the left of "Apache module mod php". There will be version information included in the name of the PHP application.
  6. Click on the Next button.
  7. Follow any confirmation requests on the following page(s).

It will take PHP a minute or two to install. You will see PHP listed as an installed program under "All Applications" once it has fully installed.
