How do I perform a traceroute in Mac OS X?

  1. From your hard drive, open the Applications folder.
  2. Open the Utilities folder.
  3. Double-click 'Terminal.'
  4. Type the command

    traceroute domain.com
    (note: replace 'domain.com' with the actual domain name to which you want to trace)
