To tell if your VPS hosting plan has metered or unmetered disk space, log into your HSPC control panel. Click on the Upgrade Center tab. Click on Buy Resources. Check to see if the "Disk space quota" option is available.
If the "Disk space quota" option is available, your VPS disk space is unmetered. If your VPS reaches its disk space limit your VPS will not operate properly. Some problems may include:
- Database corruption.
- The VPS mail server will bounce email since there is nowhere to store it.
- Applications will no longer be able to log activity. (This includes web statistics.)
To purchase more disk space, see the following knowledgebase article:

If the "Disk space quota" option is not available, your VPS hosting plan has metered disk space and you will be billed automatically for any disk space you use beyond your included monthly data transfer. Note that even metered disk space hosting plans have an upper limit for disk space, beyond which the above-mentioned problems may still occur.
